ตามคำสอนของพระพุทธเจ้า
เงื่อนไขพื้นฐานที่สุดสำหรับความสุขคืออิสรภาพ
ในที่นี้เราไม่ได้หมายถึงเสรีภาพทางการเมือง
แต่หมายถึงอิสรภาพจากการก่อตัวของความโกรธ
ความสิ้นหวัง ความอิจฉาริษยา และความหลงผิดในจิตเรา
พระพุทธเจ้าทรงอธิบายสิ่งเหล่านี้ว่าเป็นยาพิษ
ตราบใดที่ยาพิษเหล่านี้ยังอยู่ในใจ
ตราบนั้นความสุขก็เกิดขึ้นไม่ได้

According to the Buddha’s teachings,
the most basic condition for happiness is freedom.
Here we do not mean political freedom,
but freedom from the mental formations of anger,
despair, jealousy and delusion. These mental formations
are described by the Buddha as poisons.
As long as these poisons are still in our heart,
happiness cannot be possible.
